American Idol Anyone?

I'm not a huge tv watcher, I don't have the discipline to remember to watch!  However, now that we have dvr, it's easier!  I've watched AI in the past on and off, but this is the first season that I've watched every week.  I do like David A, however, I really can't see myself buying his cd.  He has a good voice and seems sweet, but he always sounds the same.  I would for sure buy D Cook's cd as well as Michael Johns and Jason Castro.  I was disappointed that he was voted off because I thought he was different.

So, my vote between the Davids is David Cook!

I watch off and on.  The best part in my opinion is when they show the auditions.  Funny!

Did you guys see that poor girl BAWLING when she got his autograph?  Poor thing was hysterical!  I'm mean her demeanor--not that she was funny at all.  She couldn't have been more than 12 years old either.

I tried to play that "joke" on my mom today, and she was like David Archuleta? -repeatedly- it was funny.  she's of course going for David A, because he's a Utah boy...

We got our tickets yesterday for the tour!  but forgot to order early...not quite in nosebleed section...I'm so excited!

I think it's refreshing to see an AI season where 1.all the final 12 were talented. and 2. I picked the final 2 on week 1!!

I think David Cook is SUPREMELY talented, his reworking of pop tunes usually amazes me.  Yep, I'm rooting for him!

OK, I think it's safe to say David A.  WOW!  That was fun to watch.  Poor David C.  It wasn't his night. 
I LOVED DavidA's 2nd song.  I can't wait to download it on itunes. 

What do you guys think?  Does David C. still have a shot?  Do I have it completely wrong?

OMG I was I wrong!  Holy cow!!! 
My hubby and I really thought David A won the entire thing.  We were screaming our heads off last night when they announced COOK!  Holy cow!!!!! Then David C started and so did we.  It was the most amazing TV I think I've ever watched.

Wow!  Really cool American Idol!  My only regret is this is the first season I've ever watched.  Have all of the seasons been this good?

Oh, and Simon's apology?  Awesome too!  What a great show!

One republic was AWESOME!!!!

I think as long as they make it to the final 2, they've done well!  I LOVE david cook, and his emotions!  I love how in the closing as they were running the credits-they panned over to David's brother, and He yelled 'Thats my Brother!!!' He was SO proud of him!

I saw that too!  How cool that his brother is the reason he was there in the first place! 

I missed the Carrie Underwood thing--after like 30 seconds I was bored so I clicked over so my hubby could see the score of the sox game.  I've heard other songs of hers, but didn't care for that one.  It didn't seem too American Idol to me.

How often do they do this show?  I suppose not again until next winter.

I'm glad Simon apologized too...i didn't get the judges comments the night before at all.  I thought DC did an amazing job and deserved to win!
