I uploaded mine earlier today but I think I did something wrong.  I just tried it again.  How will I know if I did it right?

Also, can we add more than one button if we have more than one blog?

Can someone help me figure this out? Like, log in as me? I'm seriously a special case and have no idea how to get past the "Yay! I made it to the right web site!" phase.
And no, I am not kidding. That is as far as I have gotten.

mind you.. i'm at 1/2 function right now.. will try to cryptically go step by step

1. join
2. confirm membership via email
3. click on the "Wizard for ad size buttons" link
4. Choose a category - or both
5. Put in the url of your blog/website
6. Browse your computer to upload your button.  it MUST be 125 x 125 and under 18k.  It cannot be an animated banner - it needs to be static. If you try to upload and it doesn't fit those requirements, you'll see an error message at the top of the form once you click save
7. Fill in the Alt tag.  this is the text that goes with your pic.  AND shows up in the directory.  If you don't put in an alt tag, your site will not show in the public directory. Such as the name of your blog, or a short description phrase
8. click save
9. You will then be brought to the page with the code to copy and paste and put on your site.

Note:  If you are on blogger .... OR if you put the code into your page and you cannot see it - the editor or site is messing up some of the code... so all you need to do is this;

Use ONLY the code that is between
<iframe to </iframe>   remove all the rest of the code and just keep that part in

the only thing I can think is I never got my 500 credits for impressions, so I'm operating on 0 and so I think there is nothing showing? 


is anyone's showing on their blog?  I've followed the directions...

credits will start to be given once a site starts sending impressions...

and i have an email in to the developer to see if blogger may be the issue.

If you are on blogger, their script is putting errors in the coding we provide

So... use only the iframe code from the code generated when you sign up.  That means
remove all the coding except for the stuff between <iframe to
</iframe>

OK, now how do I even make a button that size, I am clueless, my buttons are always wide and narrow. Please help me.

You need to have a graphics program to create one OR I know there are free programs out there to make buttons/banners.  If someone knows of one on here that they have used, maybe the can post it.  Otherwise you could also do a search on google for free banner creation.  The 125 x 125 is a standard ad/button size out on the net so I'm sure there are places that may offer that.

I've uploaded my button several times and I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong or if I'm approved?  Why am I so easily confused? 

I also do not have 500 credits for impressions.

The button needs to be exactly 125 x 125 to upload and right now cannot be animated (meaning one that has movement in it)  It also has to be under 18k in file size.  If you can show me your button that you are trying to upload I can tell you why it isn't uploading right.

Also - no credits will show until your account is all set up correctly and approved with your ad starting to rotate.

My button that I'm trying to upload is the same one that displays with my name- that says Livin' With Me.  When I log in now it does show that as my saved banner (it didn't before) so I think I finally did it right.

Need to clarfiy

ok - my mistake on explaining the credits.. you get the 500 credits after you show 1000 impressions.  This is to stop people from joining to ONLY get the credits and not really joining to be part of the button exchange.  Those credits will show in your account once you have shown 1000 impressions.

Also - while we are just getting people into the system, it is working out its quirks.  As more people join, it will flow better. As right now with just a few accounts, there aren't that many impressions being built up.

I think we will be able to let animated gifs to be uploaded.. I will try that change later tonite.
