Hi all. I am a doctor's dream or nightmare, depending on how you look at it.
my problems include:
*PCOS
*insulin resistance
* hypothyroid

there's more but i can't think of it right now. i am 30 now and it took me 2 years to conceive since we did not know i was not ovulating due to my insulin resistance.
not sure how long it is going to take us for the next baby, but i am kinda messed up right now so i am waiting to try again.

That is no fun, I've got a nice mix of things too.
I have epilepsy amongst other things....so I totally feel ya.  Getting pregnant hasn't been an issue, but keeping the baby full term has been a big issue Sad i've had 4 miscarriages in the last 3 yrs.

Three of my officemates have PCOS. and one is so frustrated for she can't have kids.

I had miscarriages for I had hyperthyroid for three years.

Aimee, hugs also here to you. I can't imagine the pain. At 25, that is a lot to bear. But I salute you. Looks like you're handling it quite well.

My husband and I are firm believers that everything happens for a reason-so that is why we handle it so well.  Its hard but we get thru it.

Bailey's middle name is faith, because we had Faith, that she would make it full term Smiley SHe did, 38 weeks Smiley

OMG our Bailey's middle name was almost Faith, after my best friend Faith! But then we realized her initials would be BFD... as in Big F-ing Deal... lol

I have PCOS and Endometriosis, so I know how you feel in that regards.  For the last 8 years it's been pretty bad but is getting a little better now.  I started using Progesterone cream because I was bleeding all the time.  It's been about a month and I'm actually getting back to 'normal'!

I gave up on the Dr.s because they never really helped.  Just kept going back and never getting better, just worse.  Spending all kinds of money on pills, shots and nothing ever worked.

it's tough getting the right help and diagnosis. part of the problem is findinf a doc who is willing to listen. while medicine is supposed to be based on science and proof, you can't even get to that part if you've got a doc who thinks you don't need further testing.

I can't wait to explain to Bailey where we got her name from.  Both names mean something close to us, so yeah.  I hope she appreciates it when she's older!!!

I had several problems getting and staying pregnant too.
PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid issues, low levels of hormones needed to maintain a pregnancy, and several other problems.  I had 2 miscarriages before I got pregnant with Hailey.  I found an amazing doctor- I was not able to ovulate on my own, so I had to go through all the infertilitiy treatments.  But, I am so thankful for the amazing doctor I had because now I have my precious little Hailey.  She was born at 37 weeks perfectly healthy!
