FBOTD button??

okay, so what do you all think? I was tossing around the idea of a FTOBD button to "award" the selected bloggers as they are chosen...but not sure if anyone would be interested in that or not.
also, if there IS interest...who would I have to code link back to? One of my blogs or the forums?
I would really appreciate your thoughts before I pay someone to do a button. thx!

You don't have to pay for a button!  I can make one.  Really!  the only thing to figure out is the code link.  I think the post that lists the FBOTD.  Actually, it could link back to the folder 'comment groups' that show all of the FBOTD links.  That way everyone will get seen. 

We could get a generic blog pic from the momblogs--pink of course and go from there.

I think linking back to the forum is a good idea, unless you're also running this on your own blog.

This is TOTAL wishful thinking (and I recognize that), but last night I was thinking it would be really cool to just have a button that says something like "I was the Blog of the Day Now Check Out Today's Blog of the Day" and it be automated to go to each day's blog. Yes, I know and recognize, but maybe there's a tool out there somewhere that would do the automating?  Then each day we would all be linking in a prominent spot to Today's Blog.

wow-that automatic thing is a great idea. i have no idea how to do that, though.
listen, i;d love a free button to get people back here. sure, it would be cool to have one linking to my own site, but (and i'm justg being honest) i know that is not the point here.
So whoever wants to design  one, we can try going from there.
if not, and we stick to this, iam fine with that too!

Ok..maybe this would work for a rotating link?

I took the website we used for our blogroll and I put in one of these buttons I had just created and I only put in one link...it was to today's blog (the one for 6/3).  To change the link, all someone would have to do is go back in their blogrolling account and change the URL...

Want to see it live? Check out my blog (allaboutkimberly) on the lower left corner. I'll only leave it up for a day or so as I've not actually been the fbotd yet, but want to change it out tomorrow and see if it works and such as I think it will.

there are html forums that might be able to help you with the coding if you explain what you want to do...they can be a little cocky with newbies, but some are nice.  I've gone to some before for my website and gotten help.  just google them.  they are everywhere.  my guess is that it can be done, but it would be complicated and might involve coding in this website, so you might ask Cyndi.
