I think if we can stick with it for seven years, and manage to keep it fresh, then we should do okay.

There seem to be so many bloggers out there that give up after only a year or so...

I was doing some research earlier today and trying to figure out how to get my blog to rank higher. I found this article that fits in with this discussion here -- you might want to check it out; maybe we can all help each other and work together to get our blogs to rank higher and possibly rake in some of that $$.

Now, I won't be going overboard and swearing my undying love or anything, but there is a chance that I may have misjudged it.

Um, yes, I can be impulsive and I occasionally find that I have made a mistake.
~ Take last night's odyssey of blogversity, for instance.
(and yes, I've been working on that phrase all day. Do you like it? I'm going to use it on my blog.)

Jane, I love the new word ... it has the essense of racism blended with the undertones of new age sarcasm.  It will be a successful new word.  Urban Dictionary will pick it up in no time.  Congratulations.

Well, if you love Seinfeld you should love my blog because it's about a whole lotta nothing! LOL

For me- my favorite blogs are the ones I can relate to.  My favorite bloggers have kids around the same age as my toddler or a bit older.  Most of their stories focus around their kids and their day to day lives.  Sometimes funny, sometimes not.

I guess I could relate it to my favorite TV shows- like I love shows like Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld because the story lines have happened to me or could happen to me.  I think blogs are the same way- if I can relate I'm hooked.

I never did ask for, or receive a PM as to who it was. I had my own idea. If it was who I thought (and you can PM me if you want to) I believe that she makes six figures a year on her blogging, almost all in ads, sponsors, and appearances.
I find that a lot of the blogs that make big money are just so-so for my tastes. The blogs that I think are special, have great writing and great content, or are really funny and identifiable (to me that is).

Okay, this is going to be a bit awkward.
(did I spell that right? I can never tell with that word)

Sorry, this is the serious me. I have a confession to make.

I have been spending some more time looking around on this blog that I originally spoke about that has remained mostly unnamed.

Now, I won't be going overboard and swearing my undying love or anything, but there is a chance that I may have misjudged it.

Um, yes, I can be impulsive and I occasionally find that I have made a mistake.

(and yes, I've been working on that phrase all day. Do you like it? I'm going to use it on my blog.)

But back to the serious me.
I have had a much better look around, and I can see the amount of work this woman has put into her blog.

So I suppose that now I can understand what all the fuss is about, since she's had so many years to build up her brand and image out there.

I really really really really hope that all of us can be half as successful in seven years' time time!    praying

Well, she blazed the trail right before I invented the trail.

It must be very nice to not have to worry about offending, or forgetting to link to someone you meant to link to, or getting emails from people asking why you still haven't put them on your blogroll, or trying to answer each and every comment.  I can't imagine.  To live like that would eliminate a lot of stress in my life!

Yes, I feel like there should be a fat sign around my neck that says, "God isn't done with me yet, be patient."
