Sarcasm has helped me stay sane a lot of the time.  And coloring.  HA! I know it sounds ridiculous, but it REALLY is therapeutic to get back to your inner kid.  I often go through stages where I got buy several coloring books and crayons/marker.  Then I veg out watching movies til' late and color away.  That and remembering that you can always be friendly with your kids, but never expect to be their best friend.  They need a parent more than another friend.
