I have a friend whose son had it.   sick  He is better now..but had to go to the ER.  If we had it in the past few weeks of being sick then I don't know it.  I heard it can be mild to severe...so one could have it and not know it.

Our community is confident it is here so they aren't doing any more tests to confirm. My kids are basically healthy so I haven't been too worried.

It did sweep through our house. Headaches, sore throats, fever, chills, fatigue but the symptoms kept rotating the entire duration. Just when you think you are done with the sore throat because it disappears for a few days doesn't mean it was gone for good. Twice I sent the eight year old to school only to have him still not really be ready to be back.

My fifteen year had a headache and slept fifteen hours and that was it, never had any symptoms and never missed a beat.

My six year old missed two straight weeks of school but once it was done, it was done.

My eight year old recovers and relapses.

If I wasn't a stay at home mom I would have lost my job or had to quite because of this damn flu.  I don't know how a single, working parent would handle this.

My daughter had it this past summer. She went to camp and as I heard was very common, entire camps were shut down due to H1N1. She was ok after about a week.

Doctors are telling people to stay home. They aren't even testing for it anymore.
