Life took a few twists and turns for me over the last 6 months. It's great to be back. Reading and catching up tonight.

Many bloggers that I was tight with for a few years took a break and never returned. We swore we would keep in touch via email but I know that isn't going to happen.

Truth be told, my husband was unemployed for about six months and although he was a tremendous help, he sure did get in the way of my blogging!

I can relate, I'm finding it harder and harder these days to keep up with the writing, the reading, and the commenting. But it's not something I expect will clear up very soon, the ups and downs of life and parenting. Just have to ride it out and keep muscling forward.

Sounds like the same for me.  I have just been so swamped.  I used to blog every day, but then it got to once or twice a month! oh my
I am really trying to get on there at least twice a week now.  I have thoughts, I have blog ideas...they just don't get farther than  my head sometimes.

I think that we all start out with the best intentions but life takes over!  I think that if you enjoy blogging and if it gives you a sense of "self" then it is important to try to nitch out just even a bit of time to do it.  I think as moms we put everyone's elses needs first very often and need to really remember to take some time to do something WE want to do.  It can help you so much mentally.

For me there is just so much to read, and enter (others giveaways) I get sidetracked, brain fried and overwhelmed by it all. I really need to hunker down and find the blogs that really interest me and go from there. I'd love to creat a "ring" of my own to support and help each other but understand the babysteps to get there.

I really enjoy everything about blogging, other blogs, designing etc so It's always what I do in most of my sparetime. Some people cross stich, I search blogs =) but i am a crazy cricut-ing scrapbooker too!

I'm just gonna do what I can everyday!! peace

I'm trying to work on setting time limits on my media because I can get sucked into Facebook and Twitter and then forget that I got on the internet simply to put up a blog post. Life is crazy busy right now and I don't need to be wasting my precious minutes but I do love catching up with others through social media.

I feel the same way a few months back, what I did was,I took a break and now I'm enjoying it again more than ever.
it's hard when blogging becomes a job instead of just a hobby.

Blogging and teaching ARE my jobs now, but it's still hard going from a SAHM to a WAHM.  I find myself doing this at night instead of spending time with my DH, but I guess that's ok because he is on his computer as well.  I do try to do several posts at a time, setting posting dates and times so that something new is always coming out even if I don't have time to get to it several times a day.  I HAVE to update mine at least on a daily basis, sometimes several times a day.  Check me out at www.couponsmakecentsnow.com.   rock on

I don't feel guilty if my family is watching television and I'm on the computer. I think women are good at multi-tasking. I can converse just as easily with my family when I've got a laptop perched with me as I can without one.

Yeah, it's only really bad when it's midnight and everyone else is asleep and I'm still up trying to finish posts, enter givewaways, etc....then I think how nice it would be to have an 8-5 job...but then really the grass is never greener on the other side, it's just a different set of issues.  I love blogging, but I'm still learning about it and trying to figure out the time management part of it.

Do you set limits on how much time you spend on it?  Is is a 3-4 hour a day deal for you, or just a little while each day?
