how to add blog roll and how to add banners

I am having such a hard time with this.
If someone could help me out- I would appreciate it.

Are you using Blogger?  If so just go into your dashboard, click on layout, from there go to add a gadget and you will open another window.  That window has the basic addons for your blog...like bloglist. 

To add a picture is a little more confusing and I think I will let someone else explain it as my instructions never make sense, even to me.  But it is in that layout listing also.  And you can always go to Blogger help.  It is not hard and you can do it, adding the picture that is.  I have complete confidence if I can do it you can do it!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this been crazy around here since Christmas.

To add a picture you also click on layout, gadget and in the new window click on picture, you can then upload it from your computer.
