Here in West Virginia it is 16 degrees and dropping.  We have a dusting of snow but we are expected to get more.  Yea they said last night we would get 3 inches.  It is cold and we are under a wind advisory.

Speaking of the weather ... does anyone else hate spending money on heat?

I just got my heating bill today and it is a super ripoff arguing   $279.00 for one month!  We don't even keep it real warm in here, the windows are newer the insulation is newer.  We haven't even used our fireplace because it actually sucks air out of the house.   Cry

Not sure how we will pay the whole bill on a fixed income.   sick   Even my online business will not cover my heating bills this winter. dunno

I'm not here to brag, but in sunny Arizona it has been sandal and t shirt weather. Low 70's so need for heat or AC. Come summer . . . .  I will pay my dues! Keep warm.

I'm sure you will pay your dues in the summer.  How hot does it get in the summer?

My daughter is on a business trip to sunny CA and she says it is 80.   I don't know why she couldn't take me as baggage Grin

We actually are seeing the sun here today and are getting ready for a real warm spell....upper 40's this weekend.

To tell the truth I wouldn't trade Michigan weather for anything.  I complain but I love the snow and since we are retired we can sit inside when the roads get bad.  But there is something very serene and peaceful about looking out at the snow when it is quite outside and you feel like you are the only one on the planet it is so pretty.  Or when the pine trees are covered with that first snow of winter and they just shimmer.

Sort of like the dessert in some ways only colder Grin
