I think my biggest problem with turning 30 is that I wanted to be in great shape when I did and wasn't  Sad
That's ok. We can always aim for 40!

well that was my goal, too, but got pregnant at 29, 15 pounds from nmy goal weight. then i gained 45. wonderful.
but like i said, for me, having the baby before my birthday really took the sting out.
hey-how do you all handle being sick with kiddos and no one home to help out? the hubby is out helping his dad today and i am dealing with a major cold. going to go back to bed and have Buttercup get in bed with me to watch some baby first TV.

Hi Berriesweetest I hope you feel better  Smiley
Movies movies movies.
It's ok if the kids watch a day of movies if it helps you feel better.

LOL. i try to not watch TV with her according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and no TV under two thingy and all...but I'm also realistic. TV did not ruin me.
That being said, I won't be watching any for the next week or so to balance 24 hours of straight television.

Well, at least I'm not the ONLY older 30-something mom...  I'm Debbie - you'll see me as Mommy-Deb or thequeenmommy.  Yeah, I registered twice cuz I couldn't find my original login...   I'm not a Mexican blonde - I'm a Polish Princess (seriously!)  I'm married to my best friend from college, Roy, and we have 2 awesome girls, Curly (who IS a princess, and will be 3 in August), and Tater (who doesn't care if she's a princess and is 10 months old).  I just recently quit my full-time job, and am really adjusting to being a full-time mommy.  Starting my own home based business, and really loving being at home.  Glad to meet you other mommies.  I love the banter here - takes me outside my everyday toddler-talk!!!   Tongue

I'm turning 37 next month.  It sounds so old.  But really I don't mind the 30s.

I'm Lynnae, and I have two kids, Liz (10) and Sam (5).  Sam starts kindergarten in September, so I'm entering a new phase of life.  I've been a SAHM for the last 10 years.  I'm hoping my blog grows enough by September that I can just earn a part time income that way.  I'm well on my way, and I'd love to work from home.

I am 32.  I could just stay this age forever.  My friend at work and I always say that we are 25.   Smiley
