1. How long have you been married? It will be 4 years in September!
2. Where did you meet your husband? I met him at a restaurant. He was the bartender and I started serving there.
3. How did he propose? He didn't really. We pretty much just decided to get married together. lol

I have two kids and they are 22 months apart. My daughter is 2 and my son just turned 6 months. They aren't big enough to fight or play together just yet, but I can't wait until they are! lol. My brother and I are 9 years apart and just can't relate to each other very well. I plan to have one more when my son gets near turning two.

General Boards / Chit Chat / Re: do moms still watch tv??

I rarely get the time to sit down and watch something that I want to watch. During the day, I am busy with both of the kiddos, then when my hubby gets home, he sort of takes it over. lol. When they are all in bed, I am more likely to be on the computer than watching tv.

I did CIO with my oldest DD against my own judgement because I felt pressure from other people. I regret it wholeheartedly to this day and swore that I would never do it to another child of mine. I generally just tell people that how I choose to parent my child is none of their business. lol.

I LOVE to wear my babies! With my oldest, I only had a sling and a Snugli, and she preferred the Snugli.
This time around, I have a mei tai, a moby wrap, a snugli, and a peanut shell.
By far, my favorite is the Moby wrap. It is SO comfy, it distributes the weight evenly so my back doesn't ache and I can even carry my two year old in it if I want.

I'm currently saving money to buy my stash so that I can make the switch to cloth! I can't afford to cough up the entire amount at once, so I'vebeen putting a little bit aside each payday. Hopefully, I'll be able to make the switch before the end of next month!

That's great!
I nursed my daughter until she was 14 1/2 months old. I got pregnant and she didn't want to nurse as much, so I went ahead and weaned her.
I plan to nurse my son until at least two.

My daughter is 28 months old and I started doing time outs with her for intentional disobedience when she was about 18 months old. I would give her one warning, then into the time out spot she went. At 18 months, she got a minute and a half,, now at 2 she gets 2 minutes. The first few times I put her there, she would get up. I would walk her back to the designated spot and start the time over. I continued to do that until she stayed put for the duration of the timeout. It took a lot of patience and frustration, but now she knows to stay in time out. There is a designated spot for time out in every room of the house, so she knows where to go if I tell her to go to it. Every spot is in a boring area of the room with nothing interesting to do/look at. When the time out is over, I always hug her, tell her I love her, then explain to her why she was sitting there.
For other things, I try to let natural consequences take place like some other mommies mentioned. If she throws her fork on the floor, she doesn't have it anymore, etc/
