Did you/do you wear your baby? What did you/do you use?

We used a ring sling from www.kangarookidsonline.com and I really liked it until she was big enough to sit on my hip. She didn't like it in that position and I also felt like I had to tighten it a lot while I was carrying her. So we just kind of quit using it. I wish I had gotten an Ergo or mei tei or something instead after that. Just curious what others out there have.

i am a huge baby wearing fan. i have am a freelance writer and review mom and baby products so i get to try a lot.
if you are interested, email me and i will send you the links to baby wearing articles i have written since i am not sure if i should post that here.
what i have tried:
ergo (love it)
baby ktan (my second favorite which can be used like a moby but much easier. i really only use it as a sling now)
zolowear wrap (it was okay, not my thing)
mei tai (i wasn't a fan. but i know there are plenty who love it. do u have a girl or a boy? i have a girly one i used solely for review that i was going to sell at a mom to mom sale)
moby wrap (was my first wrap and i loved it until i got the baby ktan...still, for the money it is an awesome wrap)
dydimos (too much money. enough said.)

i think that is all i have tried.
my daughter is 11 months now and i have worn her since day one. we use a stroller for long walks to start or for outings and i always have the ktan in my diaper bag or the ergo if i know i will need it in the bottom of the stroller for when Buttercup gets fussy.
she loves it, i love it. and my husband even has his own baby ktan.

My oldest absolutely loved a ring sling, but would freak in  a front carrier.  Number 2 hated being worn in any way.  Number 3 loved the Bjorn and hated the sling.

I think it really all depends on the kid!

PM me the links to your articles, please Smiley I forgot to say that I also used a Slinglings sling because they sent it to me to review on my blog. It's one of those where you have to get it in your size and I just felt like it didn't have the flexibility that the ring sling gives. I sold it on eBay. But I would love to hear any input you have. I have a girl, she'll be 13 months tomorrow and weighs 20 pounds.

call my baby the velcro kid. i can't put her down. and the strollers we have were most likely a waste of money. notg sure what to do, but since i like wearing her, i can save the strollers for the next kid. liken you all pointed out, not every baby likes to be worn.

I LOVE to wear my babies!
With my oldest, I only had a sling and a Snugli, and she preferred the Snugli.

This time around, I have a mei tai, a moby wrap, a snugli, and a peanut shell.

By far, my favorite is the Moby wrap.  It is SO comfy, it distributes the weight evenly so my back doesn't ache and I can even carry my two year old in it if I want.

I tried so many slings and carriers with my middle and last baby. The Hotsling was what ultimatley worked for me.

I am more interested in how you became a review mom. LOL

My baby did not enjoy me wearing her. I had tried the harness and she really felt uncomfortable. Using a sling seems to have worked better. But that didn't last too long as well. I wonder if other babies make any fuss when their mums wear them? Mine did!

I did not because well he never liked it.  He is nosy and loved being to see what was going on around him.  He never liked the front wearing where actually could see because he is always wanted to be unrestrained I guess you could put it that way.

I wore dd#1 in a sling most of the time.  While she was an infant, I wore her in the front.  As she got older, I moved her over to my hip or back.  Around the age of 2, I started wearing her in a mai tei on my back.

DD#2 didn't care for the sling.  I wear her mostly in a Moby Wrap or mei tai.  The Moby is her favorite.
