I saw on a tv the other day how this guy took a picture of everything he ate for a year. Then he made it into a book, and I thought - why can't you do that with your blog.
After a year of posts, you would have quite a few pages.
There are so many print in demand services out there that you wouldn't have to print it until someone ordered it.
I know blurb makes them and cafepress too.

Just an idea, I might try it in a few months!

Laura,

I'm not sure I understand. Are you suggesting printing out blog posts and then putting them into a book?

Laura, it's not crazy...I had this one bookmarked because I had the same thought.  there are probably others out there or ways to do them yourself cheaper.

It could be fun. I saw blurb too! There's an idea for someone, become a blog book publisher!

This is weird, because of online friend of mine have thought about a book about some of our email conversations, which some are pretty funny.  Maybe it is such a crazy idea after all.

I had thought of this a while back, as Mommy Confessions was originally intended to be a book, not a blog.

The only thing is, why would someone buy a book of your blog pages when they can just view them online for free?

I think it would make a nice gift for those who don't want to read at a computer, or if you want to read it in bed for example.  I can see if you chronicle your life...it would definately depend on the type of blog...After years and years it would be nice to maybe have an annual book?

Haven't explored it, but Amazon has a self-publishing operation as well (noticed it while signing up as an associate).

Don't think the idea is nutty at all, though there mayn't be much money in it unless you're a celebrity blogger.
