17 Freshmen Girls Get Pregnant On Purpose!

Did anybody read this story? Apparently, they made a pact to all get pregnant and then raise their babies together. whoa. They need a large dose of reality, in my opinion. Most of them got pregnant by a homeless guy. Uhhh...what? I wonder what their parents think...

This isn't really that crazy.  I mean, I would be mortified too but this happens more than anyone would ever admit.

My SIL got pregnant at 16 on purpose.  She denies it being on purpose.  But, choosing to not take the birth control your mother gets you is, in my opinion, getting pregnant on purpose.

Her son is almost 11, she owns a home, a car, has a great job BUT can't escape the label of teen mom even though she's headed towards 30.  She is more than 10 years younger than other parents her son's age.  The shame still haunts her even though she is successful.

I think all adult women can agree that getting pregnant at an early age isn't ideal.  But, this just reminds us all that we need to talk about it with our children.  These issues are STILL, in fact, issues that have to be discussed regularly with our teens.

I think this is insane, and I can't imagine what is going through their heads...so many lives affected.  And there are criminal issues because of the ages of the girls, but because it was intentional, it brings up different issues.  very sad...

Yes, this is insane...getting pregnant has become a fad...what the heck are our kids thinking? what have we come to? but I think maybe TV netwroks are starting to realize that they need to educate our kids...like NBC...has this new show called Baby Borrowers and it teaches kids just how hard it is to be a parent...

this scares me... so raising a human being is now like playing with a toy? what did the parents do to these kids?

The article I read said these girls all pretty much felt unloved. My heart breaks for these babies

It is sad because I think of those babies and even the mothers to be.  I cannot imagine what they were thinking in deciding to have a baby.  Another sad part is this is happening a lot wiht teenagers getting pregnant.  I read somewhere the teenage pregnancy is going up.

OMG I heard about this on the news and was horrified. And I did not even know they used a homeless man WHAT is going on in this world? ewww on so many levels.

  like OMG what is wrong with this generation?? these girls have no idea, having children means to have to give up your life , your wants and needs for your children's sake, and i don't think they are all to ready to do that! so so sad
