Hey Everyone!

My blog is Touch of Chaos, found here http://kyanandaspen.blogspot.com

I write about everything.  I started my blog with the intention of sharing with friends and family but it has evolved into my outlet for anything on my mind as well as a peak into our life.

I host weekly contests to give my readers a chance to win the money I make from the ads I run.

I left a comment on your blog.
any tips on getting advertising? I have over 1,000 readers per month right now, which I think is pretty good since I am still pretty new, but not sure how to branch out to ads yet.

Berries,

I joined BlogHer last summer then quit blogging.  I like BlogHer because it pays-per 1000 impressions vs per-click.  The rates vary between $4-$15 per 1000 impressions which means that once you get an audience there is some potential to make some extra money.

Right after I started with BlogHer I quit blogging (regularly) and my readers obviously stopped coming by on a regular basis.  Now I have been back at it for about a month and I will be seeing some money again.

Anyway, BlogHer isn't signing up new blogs right now but if you go there you can sign up to be notified when they open the network again.
