Oh, I didn't mean to disagree or anything. I just totally think it is the luck of the draw.
My son had tons of ear infections. He never laid down with his bottle though... he was at a slant because of asthma. We never put it into bed with him... I think if children are prone they are prone... and I am sure if you think it was the bottle - it most likely was.

Em, don't worry!! I didn't take offense of it!! I hope i wasn't ugly!! You didn't say anything to upset me, I hope I didn't say anything to upset you. Your son has asthma too? I hate it when Caiden's asthma acts up. I feel soo sorry for him. Caiden's started when he was 2, but we manage it quite well with preventive meds and there is the occasionally steriods which he just got off of Sunday, He had pneumonia all last week Sad

I agree.  I believe that once they are a yr old they should be winged off the pacifier and the bottle!
