Something to start a little chit chat here...

1. How long have you been married?

2. Where did you meet your husband?

3. How did he propose?

Answering my own questions, lol

1. How long have you been married?  about 3 1/2 years

2. Where did you meet your husband?  At church, in the 20s and 30s Sunday School class Smiley

3. How did he propose?  He took me out to dinner and then on a carriage ride- cliche, but it was actually my "dream proposal" that I had told a friend about. At the end of the carriage ride he decided to give me a heart attack by saying, "I've been thinking, and I don't think we should date anymore." I sat there dying for a minute until he smiled and said, "But the reason I don't think we should date is because I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me?" I thought it was sweet and also so typical of him, he loves to tease me and freak me out whenever he can  Roll Eyes

We will have been married 3 years this coming August.

We met at a job we both had back in 2002-he was married, and i thought he was a jerk. LOL

I don't think there was any sort of proposal-I wish there was!!! We'd been living together for about a year before he decided we should get married. Smiley

1. How long have you been married? - it will be 16 years in September

2. Where did you meet your husband? - we met through work via the phone.  Our company handled all his company's computer and phone problems and he was on the help desk at his company calling in the problems and I was on our help desk taking the problems.  We talked several times a day and got to know each other as friends over the phone for several months.  Then I invited him to a Christmas party my roommate and I were having and we met in person.  He asked me out that night for the next evening and the rest is history.

3. How did he propose?  He made a little treasure hunt with all these cute little notes and clues to different things and the final one....He had a golden retriever that had a bag hanging around his neck and it was my engagement ring in there.

1. How long have you been married?  It will be 8 years in July

2. Where did you meet your husband? When I was in high school my hubby worked at a Subway right near my school.  I went out to lunch with my friends almost everyday to Subway.  And the rest, as they say, is history.

3. How did he propose?  He had planned to take me out to a nice dinner to propose.  But, he was too excited to wait and asked me at home.

1. We'll be married 10 years in August.  We were living together for 2 years before that.

2. Short answer we met at work.  Long answer, he's English, I'm American and we were both working for the same company and got sent to Australia to work on a project together.  We met while on the project and started dating (he had a girl friend at the time, but dumped her before we started dating).

3. He proposed while we were on vacation in New Zealand (we were living in Australia).  It was at the end of our Christmas holiday there and we'd had a really nice dinner and we were walking home and he proposed on a beach in Kaikura. Very nice and romantic!

1. How long have you been married? 17 years.  18 years this October, we've been together for 22 years.

2. Where did you meet your husband? In High School.

3. How did he propose? I was just talking to my kids about this yesterday. It was just a simple "Want to go pick out a ring?" And for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what he was talking about, because he had bought me a ring already. When I finally figured it out, he dropped on one knee and asked me to marry him.  Needless to say, my head was spinning and I was instantly in love with him all over again. Smiley

1. How long have you been married?
5 years on June 20!

2. Where did you meet your husband?
Match.com  thumbs up

3. How did he propose?
He took me to a great nice dinner, then home and after I got into jammies (He was renting the master bedroom from a family at the time - I lived almost 2 hours away so I stayed there on weekends - I slept in his big comfy bed and he slept downstairs on the couch haha).
He came in from the bathroom and took me in there w/ him.  He'd lit candles and stuff and sat me down on the egde of the tub -feet inside it.  He got in and washed me feet while reading me Bible scripture about Jesus washing the disciples' feet and such (I'm horrible, I forget the exact passage).  SO romantic and cute.  Then he asked me to be his wife and I said: "yeah." hahaha

2. Where did you meet your husband?  At the college/career Bible study at our church.

3. How did he propose?  We went out to a nice dinner, then walked through downtown to look at the Christmas lights.  We ended up at the park, where we sat on the bridge and talked on our first date.  When we got to the bridge, he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him.  Smiley

Hey good questions.
My name is Suzanne and I have been married to my husband John for 28 years  clap  this upcoming Novemeber. we have been together since I was 15 and he was 18. peace
All the kids in my neighborhood use to hang out on my block in the driveway  party time and that is how I met him, not very romantic. He was one of the older kids with a car. LOL
When I was 20 and we had been dating for 5 years already, and now we both had jobs, we decided we could afford to get married.  Kiss
