My daughter has been in bed now for 45 minutes talking, singing, making funny noises, and calling "Mamaaaaaaa" "Dadaaaaaaaaaaaa" hoping for someone to come hang out with her I guess. I wish she would just go to sleep so I could take a nap!

I hope she takes a nap for ya!! Unfortunately that is exactly like my Bailey!!!  Right now we're struggling, but she told me she just wants to nap on the couch, so i'm trying to be a nice mama and let her, but she keeps throwing her blanket at me. lol  We'll see!!! Smiley

Okay what a little weirdo. I finally went in to see if she had pooped or something. She had taken her socks off and of course she can't get them back on herself. Her feet were freezing. I put her socks back on and hugged her, and laid her back down. She went to sleep in like two minutes after that.

OH I remember those days!  I used to tiptoe away from her room and hold my breath until I got downstairs just so I could get some 'me' time!  What a fun memory--thanks for your story!

Now she's 3 and half the time I fall asleep with her!  (She's napping right now which I why I have time to post--yippee!!)

I had one of those days yesterday.  He was refusing to take a nap and I needed just some time to myself.  I really hate when he does it in the middle of the night.  Hmmm like the last week.  He woke up around 3 am and I swear did not go back to sleep until close to & am that morning.  I admit I got angry and yelled at my husband for really no reason.  I just did not want to yell at my son.

It's "funny". My girls are now 18 and 25. When they were that age, I swear they stayed 2 for 10 years LOL. Now, it seems like it was 100 years ago. I quit giving them naps pretty early as I just couldn't do the up at night thing.
