hey ladies!!!
Im a single mom from Greenwich CT and recently fired my nanny because after 6 months of service I found out that she had no licence Huh?  but was driving my kids around???Sooooooooo my sister advised  me to look into a local nanny agency so that I have the insurance of an agency back ground check. The question now is..whos the most reliable, Ill be honest there are so many now a days..which one out there is truly going to make me priority and help me find a trust worthy nanny  that fits nicely into my familys dynamic?

 please any advise is appreciated.

My gosh I have to say that I would have been P/O'd arguing
Your right about so many agencies in the area, it does make it a little tough to narrow down..I know one of my bestfriends tried "newyorkdomestics" but said the nanny left after 3 months as a no show and it turned out a reference was fake, but my brother and his wife went through "marcellestaffingagency" , their nanny has been with them the last 4 years, and her background was free and clear lol. He told me out of all of the other local agencies (they live in stamford ct in fairfield county) that their fee they charged was the most reasonable. I dont have their contact# but im sure if you google them they'll pop up. Wink

good luck!!!

That is definitely a tough situation!  I have been using Cultural Care for several years and could not be happier. I have found the au pairs I have welcomed to my home have been the most reliable and the organization to be the most supportive.  I have used lots of local nannies in the past that I hired myself but knowing that the au pair has been screened properly has been a relief.  The au pairs go through a criminal background check and also have provide several references as well.  We also have a great local contact who has been a great support to my family and to all of our au pairs.  The program is also much more affordable that the American nanny agencies I have worked with too. The cost averages around $320 a week plus room and board.  I highly recommend you check out Cultural Care and I know there are lots of au pairs in the Greenwich area.
