I love smilys too, but I have to be honest-I don't like it. It's too busy and I can't look at the screen while I type anymore. i have to look down at my keyboard.
is there any way to busy it down? maybe keep tbe option but not have them all about? It's just, well, no what I was expecting to see.

Okay, I am sorry but after learning that these jumpy, dizzy smiley faces are not even an option but that they shouw up in your post just ifn you type a word like , i am really not happy with this feature at all.
I don't use them in my personal email correspondence and do not want to use them here. and i really don't like that they creep into my posts whether i want them there or not.
can anything be changed? i'm getting a headache looking at the constantly moving screen now!

Okay, so I didn't find a way to disable it on your own account, but there was away on another forum that I was on...so sorry!!!

certain smilies are associates with words that are typed - so if you type the word it automatically puts in the smilie - i'll see if i can change/tweek it. 

but if you don't want the smilies to show - you can go under the additional options under where you are typing your message and choose the "don't use smilies"
