My dh, who started a new company back in december, informed me that no more money is coming in.  indefinitely.
Now, his company has had some problems, but he has always managed to bring home enough bacon to sustain us even though we haven't been able to pay down any debt.
All of a sudden the money is done.  No more.  And he doesn't know what to do.  And he doesn't know when he will make more.  (he's in sales--so I guess this is what they mean when they say feast or famine)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??  All this time I had no idea the money could just run out!  I knew things were tight, but at least steady.  Now--nothing.  absolutely nothing.

You want to hear the weirdest part?  I'm not that worried.  I literally don't know how I can even put gas in my car tomorrow, but I just know that somehow--someway we'll always have what we need.  Strange huh?
Shouldn't I be crying and rocking back and forth sucking my thumb?  I mean seriously, I have a 3 year old, a husband, a mortgage, utility bills, TONS of ccard debt, taxes--you name it I owe it--and I'm not that scared.  I do own my car--so that's cool.  Can't drive it without gas though--that makes it hard.

I wonder if I am in shock?  I might be.  This is a big one, but maybe it just hasn't hit me yet.  I'll keep you posted.  If I start to melt down, I'm sure you guys will be the first to know.  In the meantime, THANK GOD we have a house full of food, lots of clothes on our backs, and plenty of memberships to entertain us through this hard time.  Now, if I could just earn some gas money.....

OK seriously~ I'm 35 yrs.old and I sound like a 16 year old who wondering if I can mow the lawn for lunch money!  CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure things will work out for ya.  At christmas time about 10 days after my baby was born (my last) I went into the dealership where we bougth our car-and where my brother worked, so my brother wanted to go show off his neice---the owner gave Bailey a 100 dollar bill, cause she was cute. Wink it helped out so much-he just said to buy her a cute outfit-so I did, and used the rest for gas and such, since we only had 2 bucks in our bank account, after I'd paid for ap art to be fixed.  People are so generous when you least expect it.

I was right not to worry, but I didn't get that I was right until AFTER I couldn't sleep all night.  Some unexpected income popped up this morning, so just for today I have what I need.

This will be on a daily basis, and I thank you guys for your kind words.  I think I should document all of this well, so that I can blog about it when it's over.

I know things will turn around....here's to patience!!!!!

Sorry this happened, but good for you to not lose your mind worrying. When we need extra cash here it seems like I always start selling stuff on Craigslist or have a garage sale.

Aw, thanks for the happy thoughts Happy Momma!  I'm quite doing the happy dance yet, as our cell phones will most likely be shut off in the morning, but here's to faith because when we needed to fill up the gas tank--money was found; and over this holiday weekend, we got a little more to buy our groceries.  Phew.  Still have all that we need.

Now, the bills are about to go delinquent, and I'm not sure how or when, but I'll be OK.  I'll let you all know when I'm up and dancin'.  Maybe I'll do a celebratory (sp?) give away on my blog when I do!

Thanks again!  Here's to wishful thinking!!!!! dancing

Have you thought about doing some paid posts on your blog?  It's not tons of money but every little bit helps, I'm sure.  I can give you a bunch of places you do it through if you are interested.

thanks bottles!  I'm trying to just keep my mouth shut.  You are right, I need to do nothing.
I am helping him liquidate his office though.  I listed things on Ebay and Craig's List for him.  BTW, if anyone is interested in cheap desktop computers--shoot me an email.  There has to be some high school grad looking a used computer to take to college right?   thumbs up
I hope so.  I really don't want my utilities shut off.   We have dates now.  EEWWWW! They weren't kidding when they said things are darkest before the dawn.

Want to hear something funny?  In my desperation, or insomnia inducing sugar binge (not sure which) I actually put a donate button on my blog--thinking some multi billionaire would take pity and send me some help.  praying  please

It's so much more fun to daydream than stay attached to reality.  Roll Eyes Life is definitely NOT boring--that's for sure!

I believe that God (or whomever you believe in as a higher power) has a way of providing if we leave ourselves open to it.  I'm glad that that's happening with you!  A year and a half ago we were in dire need of a way to get a wheelchair accessible van for my husband.  Those suckers cost the moon.  And out of the blue,we received a donation of exactly the amount we needed.  I hope your blessings continue... I bet something wonderful is right around the corner for you!

Susie, trust me take care of the kids on the side burner and all but let him go hungry (or at least eat ramon noodles) He'll get some humph sooner or later! pretty soon  surrender will be seen!
If I wasn't trying to get out of my own rutt , I'd swing you some donations in a heart beat. There's nothing wrong with a mother trying to feed the babies! Just don't go out of your way and do too much. Otherwise it will bite you in the tush!

Thanks bottlesbarbiesandboys!  I'm LOL because we just had a fight about ramen noodles the other day!  I totally splurged on milk and yogurt and "kid" food and bought him 2 giant boxes of ramen for his lunches!!!!!!!
Thanks for the offer and I'm sorry you are in a rut right now.  Emotional support is way more valuable to me than money.  You are doing so much by responding!
As far as doing too much, well that I am going to have to practice.  It's hard to sit and watch someone fall you know?
Willow, I love that God provided you and your hubby exactly what you needed right when you needed it.  To me that means I can relax and know that I won't be hungry or in the dark.  Somehow things will work out.

Thanks you guys.  It's nice to know I have a cheering section!!!  Thanks thanks thanks! thanks
