I don't understand what sponsored posting is, sorry.  I just think of like when a major television event of sponsored.  Today's  episode is brought to you by the fine folks over at Proctor and Gamble.  Or like a Nascar has sponsors.  Am I anywhere close?

I can be opinionated but it's MY BLOG, DAMMIT! Seriously, I try not to knowingly hurt any of my friends feelings or write something that would insult them. But I like to be honest, too. It's a fine line, so some topics are better left untouched.

Tara, I completely agree on this one.  I think there is a very fine line and if anyone feels the need to criticize or push their own agenda then they are perfectly welcome to get their own blog.  My sister in law reads my blog everyday and leaves comments that tend to 'trump' me and my own opinions--or at the very least passively tells me why I am wrong.  I just deleted a comment from her yesterday.  Should make for an interesting Memorial BBQ tomorrow!!!!
I think we should encourage and support each other with comments--and simply follow Thumpers rule: if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all!    Don't get me wrong--I like to hear other viewpoints and maybe somebody does things different from me, but keep it in the context of what works for you--rather than the context of you're wrong?  Does that make sense??

I also agree to this. And when I don't like a blog, I simply don't visit it again.

Well, there really is a way to post an opposing opinion without being mean.  Honestly, if someone feels the need to mean, that just shows you what kind of person they really are.  I like opinions, whether the same or different as mine, but don't claim I am wrong or an idiot because mine differs.

The internet seems to give the people the idea they can say whatever they want, whenever.  If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't type it on the internet...unless you are hormonal and venting...Rofl!

I hope I'm not posting where I shouldn't since I'm a newbie and all, but on my blog, I use it for myself first, both for a place to share my interests and for financial gain. BUT...I really try to share information that might make a positive impact on a persons life.

I have some idea about how I am doing because people email me and share their comments (I want to allow the public to comment, but have had a very bad experience in the past with a forum I ran...so I'm gun-shy).

A blog is a "web-log" so shouldn't it be about what the writer wants to share? Of course having said that, I understand that the writer must accept going into it that people might not enjoy it, get bored and possibly not return...but then again, there will be some that do "get it" and return Smiley

1. Relax, you can't be in the "wrong place" here.  You would harder to find, but not in the wrong place.  Look, I found you.

2. Have you tried a stat counter to see how you are doing?  By enabling a stat counter within your  blog, you will be able to determine if you are attracting new visitors, bringing back repeat visitors and have an opportunity to see where your traffic originated.

3. Sorry about your bad forum experience, but feel safe and free here.  Our Queen Monitor Mama is just a button away if something makes you uncomfortable, she can check it out for you.

4. We are a quirky, user friendly group.  Have fun with us.  Even on a bad day, we can help.

Wow! thank you very much, I feel more welcome now...I appreciate that!

I use feedburner so I can see my stats. Where my visitors come from, what they look at ect...

I am really enjoying this forum.

I want to put the new button up on my blog, but haven't quite figured it out yet ...but I'll get there! I'm not a "giver-upper".

Well, glad you feel better about us and that you feel welcome.  To put the button up, you need to go in your template region and be sure to use a thingy that indicates you want to put in a third party thingy and then pick up the thingy you want to copy and pop it into the thingy you opened on your template.

HaHa HaHa ... could I be more human?  I am not a techno geek but if you don't understand what I said it is totally on me and not any reflection on you.

However, if you did understand what I said and it worked for you ... wow I am a flippin' Einstein that can convert Computer Speak to the public masses.
