so...i totally forgot my best friends birthday.

read about it here.  http://www.umommy.ca

this is something i've never done before.  i want to blame being all wrapped in with feeling sorry for myself b/c my husband kind of failed my very first mother's day, but i think there's more.  ever since i became pregnant and had my baby, my brain is like mush.  and i can't use that as an excuse b/c she's not a mommy yet.  she's not on facebook, so i don't have that constant reminder of her birthday and she's not the kind to talk about her birthday weeks before it arrives.

what should i do?  got any advice on how to make it up to her?  i'm a SAHM so i don't have a ton of cash to buy her something uber fabulous.

thanks!

the undomestic mommy and worst friend EVER!

Sounds like you're only human momma!!!! I know you still feel really bad. How about writing a post, basically saying all the things you want to say directly to her.  get a clay pot (cheap ones) spray paint it and put some flowers in it or her favorite candy or something.

true friends understand, just explain!!

Hope that helps

Yep...mommy brain! LOL Been there...done that (daily!)

I agree that you should just explain. She'll understand.

Good luck!
