How do I START?

So I am new here, new to the blog world, but I think I am ready to jump in, but I don't know where to begin! I consider myself a pretty good writer, but will that translate into a blog, I don't know. Will anyone read it, I don't know.

I have no idea where to begin; I'm talking the basics here like where to blog? is there a format I should follow? How often? How honest?

My life is pretty crazy and I think it would be interesting for others to read. I am the mother of six and run my own business out of my house. Now that's an adventure!

I would appreciate any input or advice you ladies could share.
