Here's what I think--I just read your post, and I swear I could have written it myself, or at least my husband could.  If I'm not worried about some type of cancer or incurable genetic defect, then it's only because he's on the way to the doc because he's having chest pains!!!! sick

Seriously!  I think you should do whatever your heart tells you, but I truly think that as a stay at home mom, I have WAY too much time in my own head, and not enough time just being around others.  My head is a really scary place, so I just try to be aware when it's time to take a vacation.

These boards are perfect for that--as well as Carrie's Call a Friend advice.

I hope you figure it out, and in the meantime try to do something fun!!!!  (DON"T watch Grey's Anatomy--last night's was tooo sad!)

Thanks yaya!  That describes me perfectly- too much time in my own head.  A funny way to think about it!  I am much better when I keep busy- but as soon as I try to relax I start worrying about all of the what ifs.

Edited to add- I NEVER watch shows like Grey's Anatomy or those Mystery Diagnosis shows or any medical type show.  If I do- I immediately start diagnosing everyone with all sorts of diseases.

Have you ever read my blog? It is chock full of that that according to my hubby makes me irrational, paranoid, dysfunctional, and just plain crazy!

I love your blog and I admire anyone who is willing to put themselves out there despite what anyone might think. Please, feel free to come by anytime you need to feel better about yourself.

Michelle! You just made me LOL!  I think reading about all of our little idiosyncrasies makes us totally and blissfully normal!  Even more so than just the act  of blogging about them in the first place.  Thanks for that!

I definitely have to check your blog out!!  It'll be fun to see someone else whose mind works in scary and crazy ways, just like mine.

I used to love House... but now I can't watch it anymore.  I just get too worried and start seeing the weird symptoms from the show in my family members.  Somedays I wish I could just take a quick vacation from my imagination!
