If your mom is paying, I'd go.  It is young adult fiction.  I was expecting a little bit more.  I can understand why it is the "all" for some people.  I am glad I read it, but for me?  I can wait.

I plan on taking my 13 year old daughter to it sometime soon, hopefully before it leaves the theaters!

But if not...I won't be too bummed out.

I don't get the hype of it all, but then again I haven't read the books either.
So, I think I want to try and read the books then put in my Netflix que....
Either way...I definitely want to see what all the hype is about!

I disliked both the books and the movie.  Can't believe that I actually struggled through both.  I think that Bella is a terrible, terrible role model for girls.  I hate all the hype and the co- dependency of the main characters borders on the sick.  If you haven't read it and haven't seen it, don't subject yourself to it.  Just one woman's opinion.  Of course, I hate romance novels so if you are a romance reader, take this all with a grain of salt.

I love reading books but for some reason, together with Harry Potter craze, this series is not in my reading list, now or in the future.

I have read them all.  But I have to say, I do not like the Poor Pittiful Me issue.  Just because a boyfriend breaks up with you and leaves, Doesn't mean that you need to sit in a chair starring out your bedroom window for months!  It may just be me, but I do not like the message it sends to our impressionable young teenage minds.  This is were the parent needs to discuss the issues and make sure they understand that just because your break up with your boyfriend Life will continue and go on...
