I just recently switched one of my blogs from blogger to wordpress. I have two questions..

I want to copy from Microsoft Word to my blog. When I copy the font and formatting is wrong.

1. how do I change the font?
2. how do I make it so that the is one space and one space only between paragraphs?

Audrey,

Word puts in unwanted html into the text making it look messed up when you copy and paste.  Try writing your article in word then copy and pasting it to notepad.  From notepad (or a similar program) you should be able to copy and paste it into wordpress.

Audrey- you can also paste directly into html rather than the visual section when you copy and paste from word (it saves a step).

for one space btwn paragraphs- hit shift and then enter

HappyMom....I have tried it that way from Word and still had it messed up...do you have to do anything special in Word to get it to look right?

Nancy- No, I usually just copy and paste directly into HTML and I have rarely had a problem.  Every once in a while (who knows why???) I do have to paste into notepad first.

I'm glad it worked for you Audrey.  Everyone has a different way of doing things and if it works for you that is great.
That is the way I have always done it and for me it is the easiest.  So I am glad it worked for you.

Have a great Thanksgiving dancing
