So, this is not something weird and whacky that I heard, but that just happened. My dog ate Floam. A whole container of it? Are you farmiliar with Floam? I called Poison Control and they don't know what effect it has on dogs. I'm looking around on line but not turning much up. Anyone know if Floam is toxic to animals?

I have no idea... I would think if you called the vet with the ingredients that he or she might have a better idea than poison control.

I looked up poison control for dogs and found this Animal Poison Control Center -(888) 426-4435.  Although I think they may charge you.

Hows your dog doing???

I'd bet that if it'd be okay for kids that it might be okay for dogs.  But yeah.  Not that its okay for kids to swallow things likethat!!!!!!

Is floam that stuff that looks like play doh?  If so, I don't think you have anything to worry about other than an upset stomach.  Our older dog, who we finally had to put down last month at 18 years of age, age some green slime when she was a pup, and I remember her stomach was off for a few days.

You still might want to check with the vet though, just in case.

Just to update- the dog is fine. And for future referance, Floam is not toxic to animals but may cause intestinal upset and diarrhea.
Lovely.
