I have a webstore but it is a script so I dont have much ability to SEO it to bring in new traffic. SO Ive converted my blog into my SEO project.

I use it as the portal to search engines and now I have a good 40-50 unique google/yahoo... search hits a day. The more I blog the more content there is to bring people in via searches.

It is also more interactive than just a store. Someone might come and buy an item and never return, but with the blog they come often and buy every time they need something since they are constantly seeing my site name.

Lastly its fun, its makes working not so much work.

It's great you've found a way around the script issue, Nicca.

Shows that you know all about what you're selling, too. That must reassure customers.

Doing little tricks to your site to get the best search engine traffic.

Things like keywords and content or alt tags on photos. Unique links in from relevant high traffic sites. Theres advanced stuff like how your urls are set up and how you name your images...

I'd love to hear more about naming the images, the alt tags and how to set up a url the best way.  Wow, I've never even heard of this stuff.
