Happy Momma, I'm glad they fixed the mistake. I think that as long as the reader feels that you're looking out for them, they would probably not hold a grudge. If it happened again and the company was unresponsive, I'd probably CC the winner on any emails that I send and if the company didn't cough up the prize within a reasonable time frame, I'd rip them a new one on my blog. I'd also probably send a letter of apology to the winner and I'd maybe include a small gift (whatever I could afford).

Glad it all worked out. One of the prizes I won was a one hour consultation with a marketing expert. He did call last night, apologized he only had 20 minutes and told me he'd call again today. He never called today, nor did he email me. Nothing else from prizes from her.
