NEAR HURRICANE GUSTAV

Hey everyone, Just seeing if anypne is in harm's way of Hurricanr Gustav... I live in Louisiana, 4 hours from New Orleans.. where it is schuduled to hit??? Any one else in danger of this hurricane?

I just sent you an email asking if you were ok. I wasn't sure where you lived.

  Audrey! I live in Monroe, which is about 4 hours from New Orleans... They have closed our schools.. for shelter.. I have been preparing for the worst.. cooking all day. getting batteries together... candles, it is expected to hit land by dawn tomorrow.. I'm but Jerry is home, taking care of us. It's only a matter of time before we get the call for him to go out in all this.. I'm just Thanks Audrey for checking up on me!!!

I've been keeping up with CNN on what's happening and sending tons of prayers to those affected.

We have been watching tv all night and this morning too Audrey. It's so devasting to see this.. I feel so sad for these people.. Right now where I am at, its not bad, But its trying to Thanks Audrey, I realy appreiacate your prayers!

Later this week we're expected to get A LOT of rain from Gustav, but thankfully I think that might be all.  My parents are very near the coast, but I think they're far enough South to be in the clear (from this one, for now).

I can not believe how many people are now without power And they say it could take two weeks

My step son and his family live in Metaire and they are currently with other family in Houston.

Wow, thats scary.  I hope that its not near as bad as Katrina was.
