I usually try not to get involved in political or religious discussions.  The reasons are that no two people think alike on these issues.

As far as Obama not being born in the US as some pundits say, last I checked Hawaii was a US State.  McCain was born in Panama when it was a US territory.

I was brought up in a Church that preached hate, and stayed with it until my mid 30's before I woke up and said this is "bull".

People only hear what they want to hear, and believe what they want to believe.  If it were a fact, which it is not, Obama was a Muslim, why should that bother me.  Not all Muslims are killers.  If you study that religion closely you will find that it preaches peace.  My neighbor is Muslim, and we have talked about this alot. I have him and his family over quite a bit, whereas my other neighbor professes to be a "Christian" and would go out of his way to cheat you out of your last dime Monday-Saturday.  Sunday he had his family go off to church for the day.  If he did not look down his nose at people of different color or religion, I would have him over also.  But I don't like hypocrites.

I have two degrees:  One in American History and one in Business.  So I am not uneducated.

The Democratic Congress has been in office for only 1 1/2 years.  Not the whole time Mr. Bush has been in office, then it was a Republican Congress, just wanted to point that out.

I am not a true Democrat or a true Repulican, I vote for who I think will do the best at a difficult job.  I did not vote for Mr. Bush.  I never trusted him.  I do not completely trust either candidate for office this time either, but I distrust McCain more.  He has changed his stand on a lot of issues since his last Presidential run, at which time I voted for him in the primaries.  I don't like the attack ads from either candidate, they tell me nothing.  I don't listen to the pundits they give me a headache.  I have read two of Obama's books, and they were well written, and there is nothing that he says now, that he doesn't say in those books.

So as you can see I don't discuss Politics or Religion because of the variety of viewpoints.  But I ask all of you to please read and educate yourself on the issues, before you go off and vote.  It is not just our country that is at risk here, but the whole world.

That is all I have to say thanks
