I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. An hour (depending on traffic) from Washington DC.

Anyone else in Virginia?

I'm D.C. Metro and unfortunately, I've never been to your area.  In fact, much of Virginia remains a mystery to me.  I didn't even know where exactly Williamsburg was until last week (and I HAVE been there).  And I am a woman that has traveled all across the U.S.!!

 dunno

Well, my husband and I just found out he will be transfering to Washington DC in October.
That is nice and all but with today's economy, we can't sell our house.
Do any of you know of anyone willing to rent out a basement or room?

We have had many set up so far but each time it was a good match, the military decided
they couldn't transfer him due to funding.  Well, now he has his orders and there is no stopping
him from finding living arrangements and commiting to them.

Thanks in advance for your help!

 thanks
