Hi all!

I just joined today and am browsing the forums - saw this thread and thought I'd post!

My blog is The Creative Junkie (http://www.thecreativejunkie.com) - it's a running compilation of humorous stories and observations based on my life as a married SAHM of two daughters who has not yet lost her sanity. Key word being "yet."

Good morning Audrey!

I'm telling you, I NEVER thought I'd have this problem with girls! Never! And my two girlfriends who have three and five boys respectively? Not one trip. Can you believe it?

One of my daughters is "old". She's an adult. About 2 years ago she got "sick". She was getting sicker and sicker. Turned out she had esophigitis (not sure if I spelled that right). Her esophagus somehow got infected which means it swelled. She had a high fever, couldn't eat or drink and from dehydration was now getting even sicker. It was one week of nursing her back to health and me sleeping on the couch right next to her. We avoided the E.R. but only because of an awesome nurse that walked me through keeping her at home with me.
