". She was getting sicker and sicker. Turned out she had esophigitis (not sure if I spelled that right). Her esophagus somehow got infected which means it swelled. She had a high fever, couldn't eat or drink and from dehydration was now getting even sicker. It was one week of nursing her back to health and me sleeping on the couch right next to her. We avoided the E.R. but only because of an awesome nurse that walked me through keeping her at home with me.
