| Description | Why all of this.... well because of three little junebugs! The inspiration emerged with the birth of our three children; Levi, Averie and Kaela, all born in the month of June. We welcomed Levi on June 19, 2009, and recently the twins on June 8, 2011. While raising these three is certainly a challenge at times, there is also great reward. No pain, no gain right!? I often get comments like " How do you do it!?" Well, we take things moment my moment, minute by minute at times, and with lots of prayer, much of God's grace, amazing friends and family and let's be honest... some veggie tales.
The inspiration for all things sewn has certainly come from my mother. She encouraged, as mama's do, in all things crafty. Growing up, I can remember brushing my fingers along the stacks of fabrics waiting to be formed into beautiful works of art. The colours, textures and patterns, inspire, excite and enliven. Staring at the fabrics forces me to imagine, experiment and have fun. Although new designs can be intimidating, as Mom once said " You need to start somewhere". So, I will sew....and we will see where it goes! |
